Supreme Court is scheduled to hear a matter concerning restrictions on advocates engaging in other professional activities while continuing legal practice.

The issue raises questions about the regulatory framework governing advocates under the Advocates Act and Bar Council of India Rules.

Myanmar Training camp case | Delhi's Rouse Avenue court grants default bail to 6 Ukrainian nationals on a cash bond of Rs One lakh each.

They have been discharged by the court in offences under the Immigration and Foreigners Act on the basis of compounding before the FRRO.

The FRRO imposed a penalty of Rs. 5.5 lakh on each accused.

The court has also modified the bail condition imposed upon Matthew Aaron Vandyke, exempting him from furnishing a surety bond of Rs One lakh. He will be released on a cash bond of Rs One lakh.
