One of my favourite Falklands facts:
When the referendum was held in 2013 about whether they wished to remain British or become part of Argentina only 3 people voted for Argentina.
There were 18 Argentinians living on the island at the time…
😂
Argentina are the only team out of all 48 participants not to have a single VAR intervention against them, despite committing the most fouls in the tournament. Do you even realize how insane that is?
@KIFFC1879@CFCDaily@SkySportsNews Both things can be true. Bad decisions, mentally weak players looking to shift the blame. Perfect shit storm. Why react with name calling?
Same old England. On first viewing I thought Tuchel’s subs were disastrous. On second viewing, the retreat happened beforehand, a consequence of Argentina pushing on & England being exhausted. The three defensive subs did make sense. Analysis here…⬇️

@siphillipssport Don't think that was the gameplan. Psychological weakness and no-one to put a foot on the ball. Tuchel responsible. But the narrative that 12% possession and catenaccio was the plan is a false one.
The difference between West Africans and North Africans in football is psychological in my opinion.
The North Africans are calmer in adversity, they are more controlled in tensed situations and in control of their actions. While West Africans are very reactive, aggressive and easily lose their heads. They think aggression is always the solution to every problem.
