I'll probably be mostly offline for a bit (shocking, I know), but some serious life stuff suddenly happened for me and I'm currently staying at a relatives place until everything boils over.

The Commander's eyes rose upward, drawn away from the paperwork he had been immersed with. Several documents covering the outposts budget, supply commissions, and other miscellaneous things were laid on the table.
Suddenly, a woman appeared from out of nowhere in @counterscrusade's outpost. She looked around curiously, approaching the man. "Hey there, sir. This looks like quite the unique place." She places her hands on her hips, tilting her head.

With that said, he'd take another bite of his omelette-shaped plate of Splendamin.
@ayaayukio If she hadn't eaten Chicken before now, maybe she wouldn't have noticed this slight difference. But it was indeed there.
All the while, the Commander continued to take small bites of his omelette.

It looked like chicken.
And yet, for someone who had tasted real chicken, it would likely be obvious to her that something was wrong with what she was eating.
It wasn't as if it was poison, or tasted bad, but rather something was just noticeably wrong.
@ayaayukio It didn't take long before Aya was face to face with a plate full of chicken, fries scattered alongside it. His gaze focused on his own food, defaulting to a simple omelette.

Of course, he led the way. Moving through the halls of the outpost in order to find his way to their destination. Looking back every so often to make sure Aya wasn't left behind.
