There’s an 11 year old autistic boy who is missing in Calgary. He walked away from a group home day program and hasn’t been seen since last Thursday. He wasn’t wearing a shirt, had noise cancelling headphones on, and has the mental capacity of a two year old.

The entire city is distraught over this little boy. Probably one of the largest searches ever conducted for a missing kid. The police are playing Disney songs from their patrol cars. People are leaving water bottles, kid friendly snacks, and toys out for him in case he walks by their house. It’s really sweet how much the people of Calgary care of one of our most vulnerable, but also really scary because it’s been a few days now and it’s starting to get really worrisome.

Tonight will be the 4th night with barely any clothes on, and assuming no food or water.

Canada sent over **$12 BILLION** in foreign aid in 2025 alone.

With that single year’s spending, we could have:

- Built **600** new elementary schools
- Paved **40,000 km** of roads (coast-to-coast fixes multiple times over)
- Built **120** hospitals
- Delivered clean water treatment plants to **every** First Nations reserve in the country — **twice**
- Wiped out **all tax** on fuel
- Cut the GST to **2%**
- Made electricity **tax-free** nationwide
- Built homeless shelters for **100,000** Canadians

Instead we ship the money overseas while:

- Ontario and other provinces are literally on fire with evacuations and billions in damage
- Dozens of First Nations reserves are still under boil water advisories after decades
- Homelessness is at crisis levels in every major city
- Our roads, schools, and hospitals are aging and overcrowded
- Families are crushed by fuel taxes, GST, and sky-high electricity bills
- The military is under-equipped and recruitment is in the toilet

This is the Carney Liberal version of “Canada First.”

They’ll find billions for foreign causes and global photo ops, but they can’t (or won’t) fix the basics at home.

Priorities couldn’t be clearer.

Canadians last. Always.

I was “black” when I read The Odyssey in high school...

...but somehow I never imagined the characters as looking like me.

Why?

Because they were GREEK characters.

I didn’t need Odysseus to look like me to appreciate his story.

I didn’t need Helen of Troy to look like me to understand her importance.

They were Greek characters from a specific culture, with a specific history.

And this is what Hollywood keeps getting wrong.

We don’t identify with characters because they look like us.

We connect with them because we recognize something human in them - their struggles, their courage, their flaws, their values.

Odysseus is a GREEK hero.

Helen of Troy is a GREEK woman.

Their identities are part of what makes their stories meaningful.

Casting Colombians and Africans and Indians as Greek ISN'T "representation."

It’s just insulting.

Let me get this straight.

For **SEVEN YEARS** Trudeau ignored every expert, every report, and every warning about clearing dead wood and properly managing our forests.

Jasper burned. Devastating loss. Homes gone. Lives upended.

And what did the Liberals do after that disaster?

They gave **BILLIONS** to Ukraine.

They gave **BILLIONS** more to foreign climate funds and global pet projects.

They did almost nothing meaningful here at home to prevent the next one.

Now Carney gets asked a simple question about wildfires and the smoke hitting the US… and what does he do?

He immediately pivots to blaming climate change and telling the Americans they need to do more.

Classic deflection.

He won’t admit the Liberals’ own failures on forest management. He won’t talk about the dead wood they left to burn. Instead he points the finger at Trump and the USA.

Same tired game they’ve played for over a decade.

Blame everyone else. Never take responsibility. Keep sending Canadian money out the door while our own country burns.

This isn’t leadership.

This is cowardice dressed up as global statesmanship.
