It's not even the same thing. You're equating people who commit genocide to migrants. Are you alright? Wait till your family members are kidnapped and killed by Fulani men before you bring this nonsense to my TL again!
The irony is that you literally have multiple posts calling out South Africa and South Africans for the unfair treatment of Nigerians — treatment borne out similar problematic generalizations you now have zero qualms labeling an entire ethnic group of millions with.
@LibraLord88 The thing about principles is they don’t change because specifics have changed. I can guarantee you numerous folks out there will argue, for instance, that Nigerian fraud and crime has gone too far and you and every other Nigerian are criminals and up to no good.
@LibraLord88 Generalizations being problematic is the point.
Would you accept ‘the concept of an innocent (non-fraudulent) Nigerian’? Or ‘the concept of an innocent (non-criminal / law abiding) black person? Here’s another — ‘the concept of an innocent (non-rapist) man.’
Kids in Edo State go to visit a FLYOVER 😭
Just to give you a context, I grew up in Benin City and at around the same age with these kids, my excursions were to Nigerian Bottling Company, the Airport, the Zoo
The governor just dey show for the state 😭
I argue it’s a consequence of viewing politicians like fathers and mothers rather than employees of the state who are duty bound to deliver on the requirements of the roles they occupy.
Our language around governance is so interesting in Nigeria. We talk like when someone wins an election, the money and resources of the state become their personal largesse and any progress or work that happens is because they’re kind enough to “dash” us.
Tweet something like 'the concept of an innocent fulani' but object to similarly idiotic generalizations such as, 'the concept of an innocent man,' or 'the concept of an innocent Nigerian or black person.'
Okay.
