Last week, @washtenawboc took a major step forward in allocating $7M to develop a recreation & community center in the eastern county. During the discussion, the Board approved an amendment to the resolution to ensure affordability & access are baked into this process.

Last week, the Board allocated $2 million dollars to equitably address childcare access in Washtenaw County. These funds will provide financial assistance and navigation services to low-income families to connect them with a childcare provider that meets their needs.
