Let me tell you my favorite thing about Nick Saban.

It isn’t the # of SEC titles he’s won at Alabama.
It’s not the # of national championships he’s won at Bama.
It’s not the amount of $ he has donated to charity.
It’s not that # of top recruiting classes he’s had at Bama.
It’s not the # of NFL drafted players he’s had at Bama.
It’s none of that, actually.

It’s the coaches he has helped over the years.
It’s mind blowing, actually.
He has helped countless coaches land on their feet.
He has helped countless coaches secure their own head coaching jobs.
He has forever changed the sport.

It’s why he will forever go down as the greatest football coach of all time.

Not just because the # of wins. But because the # of coaches he helped along the way.

He’s not only in the business of growing young boys into men, but he’s also in the business of giving coaches hope, a chance, and encouragement.

And that, at the end of the day, is worth more than any national title ever won.
