Fever-Sun postgame thing number 2: Caitlin Clark and Stephanie White asked to addressed "division in the team" but both shut it down completely:
"I think legitimate news sources need to report legitimate news," White says.
all alone at No. 1.
Caitlin Clark’s three career 30+ point, 10+ assist games are the most in WNBA history.
the rest of the league combined has four such games.
Sound familiar? If I had a dollar for each time I’ve been “wrong” when, well, I was not… LOL! But, of course, conspiracy theorists are still at it. Some comments over there are calling her a liar. Proof of that, according to one person? She scratched her nose! 🙄 I guess she’s only telling the truth when she puts up a trolling post that seems to validate their conspiracy mindedness, but when she—again!—bursts the conspiracy bubble, she’s lying. 🙄🙄 No, she’s not, and neither was I. Y’all make this too easy! 😂 But it’s not too late to come on over to the reasonable—truth—side. You can do it. 😊
@IndianaFever If this is how she really feels, then CC is her own worst enemy to succeed in the W. It's clear to her fans that SW is unable to adjust the offensive & defensive schemes to take advantage of CC's abilities-or just wants to ensure that CC doesn't succeed. Draymond on the obvious:
Caitlin Clark on her sideline exchange with coach White:
“Two people being competitive… There’s a lot of people out there in the media or on TV that think they know a lot of things and they’re just blatantly wrong… I ride for Steph… Steph has my back.”
Coach White on the exchange with Caitlin Clark, via @TonyREast:
“I was challenging a player… I don’t often think it becomes an issue if you’re watching it in men’s sports…”
“My relationship with Caitlin is great. I love Caitlin. I ride with her.”
“When I got hurt at the CT game last year, I bawled in Steph’s arms. That is somebody I’ll ride with for life… She had my back when really nobody else did.”
CC sounds VERY irritated at the fake narratives
“They think they know everything, but in reality they don’t have a clue.”
"That's part of the game, there's frustrations that rise."
