*IN PROGRESS

I’ll admit life has been on difficult mode lately, but that hasn’t deterred off-screen progress.

This is proof that you can do anything.

Many months ago this was a dream and an idea in my head. Now I wield it in physical form.

This was the first proof of concept, ordered through @JLC3DP. I was a first-time customer as well.

The parts are dimensionally accurate and within spec for what I need. I noticed some details were scrubbed away with support removal and cleanup.

With the design finished and prototype parts approved, my next step is finding a stateside 🇺🇸 partner to manufacture them with a better surface finish at this stage (pre-polishing) for a reasonable cost.

When it’s time for pre-orders, I will order a total of 50 units: 300 parts—100 frames and 200 connectors.

Please DM me if you provide Titanium Additive Manufacturing solutions.

I am a man that thinks it's perfectly fine to CNC machine & carefully finish custom components that are seemingly hidden or unimportant to the end user.

I am sorry (not sorry) if this offends your sensibilities.

Our team completed some significant milestones this week. Seen here is Zach De Bernardi, our CEO, and Frank Stephenson presenting at the FSD studio in Dubai.

For those who’ve been asking, the design is entirely boxy and retro. Great care has been taken to give the Runabout its own identity with the right touch of modernity.

More images will come out this month with the full reveal in November.

I just asked Siri AI to create a note from text from a specific section of an app that was on my screen, that didn’t allow copying and it happened so fast and perfectly. There are many hidden uses that I’m discovering daily. Sometimes have issues with it displaying photos…
