Of course. Circulating supply of XRP is ~63 billion. At $10k that implies a ~$631 trillion market cap. Global GDP is only ~$126 trillion. Even the entire world’s financial assets and balance sheet don’t support a single token reaching that valuation.
Only ~14 million XRP has ever been burned after 14 years (0.014% of supply). Escrow releases continue. It’s a settlement token, not equity. High usage doesn’t automatically justify extreme prices.
I've been listening to albums front to back again instead of shuffling playlists. It's a different experience. Which album do you think rewards a full listen most?
Don’t buy on Gemini. TRUST ME. Not your keys, not your cheese.
Weeks of trying to withdraw Bitcoin from Gemini. Security hold. No human on the phone, just a voicemail about how important my call is. Email goes nowhere. Sizable bag, bought the dip, locked.
Part of what draws me to Bitcoin is that it works without asking anyone's permission. People can opt in, and nobody has to agree on anything else. I like that kind of cooperation.
@YourFriendAndy Fair, one machine at a host, at roughly half a residential rate, is a real option. The outlay is the miner, not the building. At those rates most of the monthly stack still goes to the power bill, which is why operating profit is a lot smaller than the bitcoin produced.
Bitcoin taught me low time preference before I had a name for it. Buy, hold, and spend your attention on things that compound, like skills, relationships, and books.
