Boycott Ireland v Israel - the games must not go ahead.
Letter to the Irish Times in response to Saturday's edition, and the claim that Ireland might have something to learn from Israel's illegal policy of displacement, demolition and settlement. Should have probably just let it go; couldn't.
🚨Breaking: Amnesty International has today joined a criminal complaint against FedEx after The Ditch uncovered evidence the airline unlawfully transported F-35 fighter jet parts for the Israel Defense Forces through Belgium in June 2025
What does international law say about trade with illegal Israeli settlements? The ICJ was cystal clear that all of it, both goods and services, must end. That's the standard Govt legislation needs to meet - as we told the Dáil FA Ctte in July, to unanimous support. #PassTheOTB
The Ditch: The Party Line | Episode 11: Ireland Up in Arms
'But the interesting thing is that the criminal liability attaches to individuals. So you could have a situation where a criminal complaint and investigation takes place in relation to the individuals that approved those licences and the Minister for Enterprise himself. Now I don't think that's likely to happen but that's how serious this is.
'And I think also what's very interesting is that these licences are issued and are valid for 12 months. So we know that Acra Control sent their dual-use items in December last year. We presume that that was done under a licence issued by the Department of Enterprise. And that would suggest that licences were being issued up until December 2024.
'And that people, that companies have been able to use them up until six months ago – at that point, well over 50,000 civilians had been killed by the Israeli forces.'
Patrick O’Donovan’s departmental records of his meeting with Coimisiún na Meán don’t disclose the secret phone call he’d made to a commissioner where the media minister sought to initiate a state examination of RTÉ’s fuel protest coverage.

Absolutely amazing journalism by @declassifiedUK.
The man responsible for approving arms sales contracts with Israel conveniently failed to disclose his membership with the lobby group Labour Friends of Israel.
And he has no response....

⭕️ NEW: Israeli Residents Say IDF Deleted Parts of Their October 7 Security Footage — Israel Hayom
Residents of Kibbutz Be’eri say a classified IDF reserve unit seized their security camera recordings on October 9, 2023, promised to return them intact, then broadcast some footage without consent — and returned the materials with portions allegedly deleted, Israel Hayom reported.
The unit, composed of veterans from Sayeret Matkal, Shayetet 13, and other elite units, collected visual materials across Gaza border communities in the hours after October 7. Sources say the footage helped produce Israel’s internationally screened “atrocities film” and identify hostages.
“The decisions to delete materials were made ‘under fluorescent lights’ — it’s a conscious decision, not one made in the chaos of combat,” one Be’eri source said. “The day will come when an investigative commission is established. The fewer witnesses there are, the less damage certain people in the military will sustain.”
The IDF did not respond to the report.
Today, masked Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli army attacked the village of Jiljilya in the West Bank, stole a flock of sheep, and murdered a Palestinian child, Yousef Kaabneh, 16 years old.
This is the proven fraudster behind the new "Civil Commission" report on Oct 7 sexual violence which the entire US mainstream media is reporting without any critical detachment.
During a Harvard presentation, Cochav Elkayam-Levy falsely presented an old photo of female Kurdish fighters killed in combat as images of Israeli women at the Nova music fest.
When I exposed her, she simply blocked me and moved on without acknowledging her error. Then she proceeded to spin out more lies, such as that fetuses were cut from pregnant mothers by Hamas fighters.
Israeli media has since exposed Elkayam-Levy as a grifter who deceived donors, lied about Hamas atrocities, and set up a fake "Civil Commission" which served as a corrupt fundraising mechanism for herself.
Her new report is contradicted at numerous points by previous ones by the "Dinah Project" – another Israeli rape hoax PR org – as well as by the UN's Pramila Patten "fact-finding mission," and others which the Israeli gov't itself has promoted.
In spite of her long and growing record of lying and corruption, the NYT, CNN, ABC and Washington Post are still taking Elkayam-Levy at her word.
