@TheVictorShade@JSwitch56@asha_shar Thank god this shit gets you fired from your job if you say it in public. If I had to deal with people like you in the real world I would go insane.
@mordoboy54@aso9nglobob@valytracks_ I just bought a ps5 to practice with the latency that we have at locals and I have had to redo my entire ranked climb from scratch and it has been so painful for me and probably all the players I’ve steamrolled and Glicko has known my elo since I was in purple ranks
@mordoboy54@aso9nglobob@valytracks_ I know this is not going to be super helpful because it’s fairly anecdotal and it could be partially mitigated by a placement system. But I feel like Glicko has a much better placement system than the current Tekken 8 ranked system (none). 1/2

@aso9nglobob@mordoboy54@valytracks_ Mf making up definitions for things that aren’t defined like that and acting like I need to pretend that his definition is reality.
@aso9nglobob@mordoboy54@valytracks_ You are mismanaging definitions. Give me one source that says poker is a zero sum game when you have the casino altering chip numbers
@aso9nglobob@mordoboy54@valytracks_ Poker is only considered a zero sum game when played without any external sources or draws because all the money you win has to come directly from another players. In T8 if you beat someone 1 rank lower than you(in most ranks) you get +1000 and they get -750 this is not zero sum.

@aso9nglobob@mordoboy54@valytracks_ Imagine that you are playing poker against one other person at a casino. In your mind it is zero sum because one players win(+1) is equivalent to the other players loss(-1) however it’s not zero sum due to the house “rake” resulting in non equivalent wins compared to losses.
