@NancysPoint @bccww And it gets worse, when people say “oh, you will beat this! (You are so strong.)” or similar. Really?!! Do you know something my highly qualified HCPs don’t? The cure? What are the things that I need to do to make sure I am the one crawling off the battlefield as winner?

@bccww ...how they react to the first simple overall news. Listen&hear, then adapt to it. Will take practice but possible. I had two great HCPs who did that, one didn’t; it showed as treatments went on. The patient is not just a hospital number or case from a medical book. (2/2) #bccww

@bccww I am a scientist, I process logically and want facts, no holding back details, that will undermine the trust in the working relationship along the way. No lies! But not everyone is the same. So HCPs should take the time to find out what the patient's background is... (1/2) #bccww

@ScotBCCampaign @bccww While we need research funding, esp for secondaries, it isn’t appropriate to adverise it as a party. Doinf it in solidarity for someone dear, one thing. A national campaign making it look like a blast, no. For me it wasn’t the worst but that doesn’t mean it isn’t for many others.

@EjectorSeat @Southern_Trains Similar “improvement” for weeks now by @GNRailUK (and @TLRailUK). Impossible to know which trains will run or whether there will be adequately timed BRS (which makes me sick). Improved unreliability maybe, nothing else. Often late/cancelled. Nightmare!

@Liz_ORiordan WTF? I can't see a single reference to any of the research she supposedly studied. What did she do, google the hell out of cancer&diet? It also makes us feel (even more) guilty! Maybe there is lots of books out there, but they needn't be based on scientific evidence/studies.
