This👇is not at all surprising.

As I've said before, there should be a major criminal investigation into the massive fraud in the international student program over recent years, which involves human smuggling and organized crime.

Canada issued nearly 1 million visas to Indian students alone since 2020. It is common knowledge that they often paid "agents" the equivalent in $10,000 to $40,000 to arrange college acceptance, study permits, etc.

So we are talking about *billions* of dollars, usually in cash payments.

That doesn't even include the next stage in immigration fraud within the same ecosystem: the sale of tens of thousands of fake Labour Market Impact Assessments to facilitate "students" in becoming Temporary Foreign Workers as part of their often desperate efforts to obtain permanent residency.

Dozens of Canadian community colleges and dodgy diploma mills knowingly participated in this huge scam, and profited from it. There should be real professional consequences for them, and where evidence supports it, jail time.

This whole scam made a mockery of Canada's immigration system, tarnished our country's reputation, exploited countless young people and their families, and we can now see was also associated with violent crime.
