Weekend thought on crypto tooling.
Most products optimise for the moment you're excited. Alerts, streaks, red and green everywhere.
The useful ones optimise for the moment you're tired. Sunday evening, nothing happening, you just want to know where things stand.
We build for the second one. It's a worse demo and a better product.
Most people check their portfolio on a Saturday and call it research.
I did it for years. Open the app, scroll, feel something, close the app. Zero information gained, mood slightly worse.
The fix wasn't more sources. It was having the same two numbers waiting for me every morning, whether I liked what they said or not.
Boring beats exciting. Exciting is what you feel right before you do something dumb.
"Do your own research" is the most useless advice in crypto.
Research isn't reading. It's having a method you apply the same way on a good day and a bad one.
Most people don't have a method. They have a feed.
We publish ours so you can argue with it.
Thought process
Every morning our model scores ~50 crypto assets on public market data.
One number per asset, 0 to 100.
Some mornings the interesting part isn't the top of the list.
It's that the top of the list is low.
This week, nothing in the set is scoring where we'd normally expect a
high-conviction reading. That's not a prediction about where the market
goes next. It's a statement about how much signal is in the data right
now — and the honest answer is: not much.
A model that always has an answer isn't reading the market.
It's producing output.
Not advice. Same numbers for every subscriber, timestamped, unedited.

Sunday, so a quieter thought.
The hardest part of building an analytics product isn't the model. It's deciding what you're willing to show when the model has a bad week. We settled that early: everything gets timestamped and stays up. No quiet edits, no deleted screenshots. It's a constraint we put on ourselves before anyone was watching.
Easier to hold that way.
Four weeks free, no card required.

We'll be posting here continuously — methodology, what the model is seeing, and the occasional argument about market structure.
Follow along.
We're taking coyn42 out of stealth.
We built a model that scores the crypto market every morning — and publishes what it sees, including when it's wrong.
Here's why.
What coyn42 is not:
Not an exchange. Not a wallet. We never touch your funds. Not personalised advice — every subscriber sees the identical output. Not a signal group, not a Telegram pump.
It's analytics software. You decide what to do with it.
I want to join the crypto game but I have no idea which coin to buy. Sounds familiar?
Don't worry, we're here to help. coyn42 is the crypto intelligence app. Analyze before you buy. The easy way. Launching soon. https://t.co/IgmIdgYIhJ
