@DDPuncher Swyer syndrome, a better definition focuses on gamete production, no animal produces both male and female gametes simultaneously. If you produce sperm then you’re a man, if you produce eggs then you’re a woman
@nuno_schumacher@Riabl0 Well I guess it’s just a disagreement on value exchange then. You think the desire to eat meat is not worth the life of a cow and I think it is. Not sure how we could change each others value differences through rhetoric but I’m open to try
@One_Supernova Oh wonderful, solved then. We don’t have to worry about falsely transitioning someone anymore, we can just scan their brain before the bottom surgery or prescribing puberty blockers and hrt and deny it to people that don’t have sufficiently opposite gendered brains!!!
The point is that all these things are wants and not needs, I have a nice big house because I want one. I get whole food groceries because I want them. This line of thinking is the same thing as the burrito fiasco a while back. All these things are things I WANT and not NEED because life isn’t about fulfilling basic needs, it’s more than that. I’m not going to rave and rant about the purpose of life but not denying myself the pleasure of eating my free range grass fed beef (which is significantly better for the environment and in some instances carbon negative) is part of my life philosophy, just like eating a burrito sometimes and not feeling like I’m running out of money doing it is also a part of my philosophy
@nuno_schumacher@Riabl0 Okay but what if I don’t want to have to plan my diet around making sure I’m getting all my amino acids? What if I just want to eat the cow I raised and the potatoes, carrots, and various berries I grew?
