Tonight, at a party, a classmate told me "not too bad for a straight girl, you could come to gay bars with us!" And I was like : "boy, I'm aroace, I've been writing queer fanfics for 6 years, and I went to Paris Pride alone 2 years ago. Of course I'll come to any LGBT event !"
Nothing is more ironic than the fact I'm debating my potential attraction towards girls with the girl who is making me questioning (without her knowing), using the example of another girl because I'm great with communication like that 🙃
Update : I saw him again today and not only did he know my name, but also said "tu" to me and came to talk to me!! (Well, about something university related, but still!)
One of my close childhood friends just gave birth to her first child. We used to do our homework together, telling jokes, being silly pre-teens, every Fridays afternoons when we were 11.
How old am I, now??
So I guess it wasn't a "phase" after all.
Especially considering I got special interests as a child : for Brazil and Brazilian Indigenous tribes, for circus, for prehistory, for Greek and Roman mythology, for Harry Potter.
I was collecting infos, books and any stuff about those!
When I was 11, I got a new special interest over High School Musical. It was very intense and sudden, and I remember telling my parents how surprised I was. They said "it's normal, it's just a phase because you're a teenager".
Now I'm 25, and still getting special interests!
Me getting a consistent special interest for cars Youtubers (and therefore, cars and driving) was definitely NOT on my bingo list for 2023
(But what can I say, any comfort place is good to take lol)

I thought I had made some progress in my "relationship" with that cute young librarian from the university, because before my holidays he used "tu" to talk to me. But when I came back to the university library today, he went back to use "vous" :(
