Tax CPALE TOS is giving transfer taxes a lot of weight (~17%). It's not like an accountant is handling estate and donor's tax on a daily basis. Cut that in half and redistribute it to general tax compliance topics.
Congratulations, everyone! From the brave takers and deferred-but-not-denied passers to the May 2026 CPAs, congratulations for putting up a good fight! #CPALE
hello, wag kau ma-pressure mag aud firm 🥹 like legit hindi end all be all ang aud firm unless passion mo ang audit/tax. Yes malaki opportunity outside after nyo maka 1-2 yrs pero sobrang bigat ng workload (take it from me na 6 months dun)
A low passing rate is not a source of pride. Mababa passing rate kasi alien questions? Parang quiz bee? Overly tricky Qs to the point of absurdity? A low passing rate can mean na mahirap ang exam, but if the difficulty is unnecessary and unreasonable, then what’s the point?
A high passing rate is not a product of loose regulation. It’s the opposite: it arises from effective regulation, simula college pa lang. A high passing rate does not mean professionals of poor quality; some professions enjoying high passing rates are among the PH’s finest.
Pwedeng sabihing “madali” (I’d avoid it though) but it should be contextualized. “Madali” not because the standards are lax or because it’s an exercise of pity. “Madali” because it is reasonable: the exam was meant to test what’s essential, what’s taught, and what’s covered.
