@LouMerloni what about last year with Richard Fitts. Thrown into a last minute start at Yankee stadium. Tanner Houck was a late scratch. He pitched 5 scoreless innings, allowing only two hits and three walks. Struck out Judge and Soto with runners on.
@LouMerloni Thank you! Some of them seem so fundamental. Back in the 70’s I’d scream at the tv saying “TALK”! Just so they would know who would catch the ball and that a teammate wouldn’t get hurt.
