We educate, engage, empower & actively involve community, including youth, to live in harmony with biodiversity; inspiring joyful custodianship of environment.
South Africa is characterised by unique human diversity+ biodiversity. CPBMJTT public meetings in June may seem to be about baboons, but really need be critiqued through broader lens, in context of diversity of our people, and with baboons as an aspect of system of biodiversity.
Today, Human Rights Day, we call on City of Cape Town to honour our constitutionally enshrined human rights pertaining to environment, by making Conservation of Biodiversity a serious concern in the Integrated Development Plan (IDP).
This is currently given barely a mention.

Is it appropriate to accept lawlessness & lack of accountability from authorities in SA?
Dr Dziba response to serious legal questions is a fob off.

βCurrent baboon management review is unlawfulβ
Listen to @CapeTalk 16h40 today @cpcc_za Lynda Silk interviewed to outline the disregard of obligations by authorities, and the implications thereof.
These concerns have been raised with Minister Creecy and Mayor Hill-Lewis.
We have been applauding 3 spheres government for coming together as if it is a landmark achievement. Their collaboration is a legal requirement, not an achievement.
Don't fear questioning the JTT in case of breaking this up, DO demand it be lawful, transparent & accountable.
