The Reds are cooked. My time was better spent watching golf. The Memorial has been incredible today. And football is right around the corner. The Reds are not worth anyone’s energy.
This is why I liked the trade for the Browns. You get a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd round pick plus a 25 year old who trails only Parsons & Garrett in his first 2 seasons in the league.
My favorite baseball player of all time is Barry Larkin. But listening to him make excuses for Matt McLain comes across as disingenuous. I don’t care if he’s a Reds employee or not. If you’re an analyst, you have to be fair and balanced or you lose credibility.
@dharter444 But little Tommy’s 9U coach did his homework. Analytics. 🤣
I don’t care what the nerds say, On Base % will always drive my opinion on a hitter.
I don’t like to sound like the old man who longs for the “old days” in sports. But I remember when being a .230 hitter got you “retired” from baseball. Now it’s “well, his launch angle and exit velocity say he’s not really hitting .181.” Hard to commit time to today’s product.
Much better. If I never have have to see Freidl, Hayes, & Benson in a lineup again, I’m in a good place. I don’t care about analytics or defense even one bit if you hit .150
I just bought 2 pork steaks for $9. Two t-bones were $74!!! I don’t care what anyone’s reasoning is, that’s unacceptable. For beef to get to these prices isn’t excusable & we have to be approaching the tipping point where people just say “no thanks, I’ll eat something else.”
The Cavs success on offense is based solely on how well they are shooting the 3. Dribble, dribble, find someone open at the perimeter, & hope they’re hot. That’s not a great recipe.
This board is obviously made up of the same people who used to say:
“The internet is just a fad”
“Why would I ever carry a phone around in my pocket?”
“Newspapers will always exist.”
OHSAA Executive Director Doug Ute says he met with the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association today. OHSBCA has sent a shot clock proposal to the OHSAA. “Our board is not ready to pass that,” Ute said. @WCPO
