Dueling spellcasters. Reanimated corpses. High-speed steamcarriage chases. Bad breakfasts. At least one demon and four puns. And so much more.

@andrewphung@runtheburbs@hulu Happy to hear the show will end up in front of more eyeballs!
I just heard last week there won’t be a S4. Gonna miss the Pham, and I need to know what Andrew’s campaign would’ve looked like!
@TheDebbieMia As much as I want to read some of the DarkLit Sails (now Dark Sails) titles, I can’t in good conscience funnel money toward this venture at this point.
My Dryer: plays a cheery little song to let me know it’s done.
Me: Nice, my clothes are dry.
Dryer: I didn’t say they were dry. I said they were DONE.
Me: …
Dryer: Here, I twisted everything into a sopping wet rope for you.
After discussing within our former DarkLit authors chat, and confirming where we sat with legal options, I'm sharing a longer post today regarding the behind the scenes issues with DarkLit and Marceau.

“Whatever, the next person will probably wipe it down before they use it” is the “The shampoo lather runoff will clean my balls when I rinse my hair” of the workout world.
At this point I just assume the people who don’t wipe down the equipment they use at the gym are the same people who don’t actively wash their privates in the shower.
No one will remember:
- your salary
- how “busy” you were
- how many hours you worked
People will remember:
- that time the waitress said “Enjoy your meal” and you replied “Thanks, you too!”
My “Wall of Inspiration” in my office is taking shape.
@HNTurtledove, whose work first made me sit up and say “I want to do this one day!”
@HenryRollins for inspiring me to “Show up and do the work!”
@RobertJSawyer for proving to this kid that a Canadian can make a go of it.
Favourite quotes from each will be added when I have a chance to pick up some hanging hooks. We’re not allowed to use nails because asbestos! Until then, here’s my Bowie section (also a work in progress).
@crumbedup I’m still seeing the DarkLit edition of @stevestred ‘s “When I Look at the Sky…” on Amazon, too, and I know he pulled the book weeks ago (and already has a new version available through Black Void).
A visit to a small town used bookstore turned up a @HNTurtledove short fiction collection paperback I’ve never seen (and never heard of) before. Sure to be some gems in here!
