Premature infants have apnea-brady-desat episodes (ABD’s) where the infant goes apneic and the HR and O2 drop. Sometimes they self correct and breathe again, others need stim or worst case PPV. Over time infants outgrow the episodes #NICUAwarenessMonth

Happy NICU Awareness Month!! My job leaves me in awe, I take care of the tiniest and strongest patients. This year especially, keep in mind that tiny preemies grow up to be immunocompromised toddlers. Be safe. Do the right thing. Hand hygiene and masks keep the little ones safe

Left work this morning with my baby not doing good at all, I knew something was wrong but couldn’t do anything, only to come back tonight to him passing away a few hours after I left. Let me tell y’all that’s the hardest thing to ever go through. Praying for the family 😭

Cas came and stayed with me today to sleep cause we worked last night and tonight and we came home to korey asleep on the couch so we could have the bed and woke up to two loaded teas for us to take to work. Im so thankful for a husband that cares so much for me and my family 💖
