Can’t believe it’s been 20 years since we lost Ryan Francis. He was a jewel of a USC point guard as a freshman, and one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. He led the Trojans to an upset of defending national champion North Carolina at the Sports Arena.

2002. Early in season, the team played at U of Portland & I was able to get a seat directly behind the bench. You could hear everything- amazing experience.

Oh yeah, that year they also played some team named Florida Atlantic (and won).
