@LorenaSGonzalez Last 2 times I was laid off I relied on freelance work to get me through the tough times. Without it I would have been forced to sell my home and move out of LA. AB5 is a disaster for creative workers in CA. It should be delayed, and eventually repealed.

@AirTalk @KPCC The city is not providing a legal way to convert out of compliance guest house into legal units for STR. Since you cannot have a full bath, there is no path to compliance.

@AirTalk @KPCC The language of the ordinance states that the units on their property must be "habitable", which means it has to be permitted. The city isn't acknowledging that you cannot convert a garage or guest house with a full bathroom. It is not just about not having a kitchen.
