Likely unpopular alternative to remote learning days during/following severe winter weather events in Anchorage: an 8 week winter break from early November until end of December. Let’s just move those school weeks to late May and have school until July. Ready for your laughs.

Why are alternative and charter schools in Anchorage closed tomorrow? Parents are responsible for student transportation to those schools (unlike neighborhood schools). Most roads are rough but manageable at low speed. Please @AK_El_Jefe help me understand.
