The #ChoseChagne study did just that. Participants were studied under #real-world conditions, and the study found significant results concerning #symptom-reduction and improvement in #well-being and #functioning.
When exploring treatment options for treatment
non-response, it is important to study patients and
therapies under #real-world conditions under which most patients will be treated in the future.
In the #ChoseChange study we examined whether psychotherapy is effective in treating #chronic patients who do not respond to treatment in a transdiagnostic sample.
We did make something concrete for our ACT projects and publications 😌🍀. Thank you Andrew for his expert advice. Having a renowned international scholar to guide you to grow as an academic makes you much better.
We celebrate the freshly graduated & #memelover Dr. Victoria Block, a valued & long-term member of our team @CPISlab! Vicky successfully defended her #PhD & leaves our lab to start her clinical work. Thank you for your inspiring work. We say goodbye to her with a cheer! #Academic

We are excited and proud that the head of the @cpis_lab , Prof. Dr. Andrew T. Gloster, was elected as the President-Elect of the Association for #ContextualBehavioralScience@myACBS! We look forward to strengthening international collaborations to reduce psychological suffering!
How do you feel when your friend pulls out their #phone in the middle of the conversation? #Phubbing is an increasingly prevalent and disruptive phenomenon. But what drives this behavior in #social#interactions? Take a look: https://t.co/u2ZPfGA6Xu
Powerful #learning! We had so much fun with the actor Rolf Haas & the head of our #lab, Prof. Dr. Andrew Gloster, who demonstrated a #therapy session in one of our #hybrid#lectures of the #Bachelor’s study program. We look forward to more interactive & applied learning!
#Women are productive members of the scientific community. They have little chance for job tenure. Especially mothers are affected by it. Researchers make difficult life decisions based on policies & attitudes around parenthood. That’s why we need to boost parenthood in #academia
«Not only ICU staff, but nurses from all areas, including nursing homes, private nursing services, wards, are under much higher stress due to the corona pandemic, which makes nursing work much more difficult - for all nurses. » - Nurse (51), Emergency ward https://t.co/HV6EA4yir0
This indicates that therapists and clinicians should explore their patient’s social interaction patterns and #digital behavior more deeply. Could digital #intervention or technological everyday life increase negative affect in patients? 5/5
Do you prefer social interaction via calls/text? During the #pandemic, communicating via phone/the internet gained more importance. While technological interactions might be preferred by socially #anxious individuals, their helpfulness remains unknown. https://t.co/DGkMvaniR3 1/5
Differences in affect were analyzed. The results across all groups show a positive #relationship between negative affect & the frequency of #technological social interactions. Additionally, there is a positive relationship between positive #affect & face-to-face interactions. 4/5
Only good cooperation and working together can ensure that our many #research projects run smoothly. That is why we are welcoming our new #interns to our #lab! We are happy about the addition to our team and welcome them to @cpis_lab!🙂
