Say it louder for those in the back 👏🏻

[cindylouwho @cpkeelPNP]

A tragedy for all involved and a slippery slope for every single health care professional. As if COVID wasn’t enough in the past two years, throw in the possibility of being criminally prosecuted for an error that seems to be exactly that a terrible error https://t.co/6JouxjMlwf

@walshds Congratulations! Best wishes ❤️

I’m of the generation that had chickenpox before vaccine was available. I know many ppl w bad cases shingles eg one who said it was worse than childbirth w/out epidural! We’re still learning about MIS-C and #LongCovidKids - why risk that too? #GetVaccinated #VaccinateYourKids

A legend

[Ken Tegtmeyer, MD, FCCM, FAAP 🇺🇸 🟧 @pccm_doc]

Incredibly sad news. We lost a #PedsICU giant yesterday. Hector Wong, MD passed away unexpectedly. He was division head at Cincinnati for over 20 years before stepping up to interim chair. He leaves a massive legacy of sepsis research and trainees spread around the world.

@SapnaKmd Beautiful 🤩

@brownam130 Sad, but right decision 😞

Too funny not to share

The same new nurse who I tweeted about before (gives advice even tho she’s new, can’t ID a toxic patient by looking at them, handed off poor report on a patient who coded <1 hour later)

she put an IV in a patient.

The IV was pointing towards the fingers.

Who should get an mRNA Booster #Vaccine now that it’s approved for all adults in the US?

If you answer YES to these 4❓- get #Booster

✅ Do you have a pulse?
✅ Do you want to breathe & think?
✅ Do you not want to hurt others?
✅ Do you have hope for your future?

[cindylouwho @cpkeelPNP]

@brownam130 @SCCM @EmoryNursing Congratulations!

1/🧵For months I’ve been grappling with what seemed like a real gap in conversations about #LongCOVID.

Here in @STATnews, I introduce you to 30 references & 3 #COVID survivors – Ray, Pam, and Carolyn – who taught me a lot. I hope you think so, too…

[WesElyMD @WesElyMD]

Brutal story. Holy smokes. #covid19 & brain death in a healthy college kid. Mom begged him to get #vaxxed. She’s 💔

I have seen some of the worst blood🩸clotting of all in my young #Covid patients. They can sustain the lung damage but not a blood clot in the 🧠…or an abscess.

[cindylouwho @cpkeelPNP]

@dukeacpnp Fantastic story and so important for this group!

[cindylouwho @cpkeelPNP]

@doctorjenn 🙋🏻‍♀️HELLP syndrome at 38 weeks with my second child. A smart midwife picked up on it and I quickly got induced and placed on Mag

[cindylouwho @cpkeelPNP]

@WesElyMD @ParnassusBooks1 @MedBookClub1 @MedHumChat @VUMCLung @VUMC_Medicine Starting reading this weekend. Amazing! Having someone survive the ICU should not be the only measure. PICS affects so many and early rehab/mobility is a big step to helping ease the effects. I left the PICU six month ago but my heart will always belong to those patients

[WesElyMD @WesElyMD]

Realization: While #AntiVaxx spew misinformation about #Vaccine reprogramming our DNA, that is actually happening to some #COVID survivors w altered immune systems wreaking havoc causing #LongCOVID…all of which could be prevented by a shot that does NOT reprogram us. Sheesh!

[cindylouwho @cpkeelPNP]

@brownam130 @AANP_NEWS Congratulations❤️

Post-COVID vaccine myocarditis: a #tweetorial from a pediatric cardiologist

First off this complication is reasonably scary for parents deciding whether or not to vaccinate their kids. I do hope that this 🧵 helps clarify the data and dispel some myths.

[cindylouwho @cpkeelPNP]

@kiswanson Idiots. I’m so done with these people. They better hope if they end up intubated that it’s in an ICU believing in early mobility
