Please @Whataburger bring a location to Sioux Falls. I would not be visiting it in a limousine, but I would be visiting it OFTEN. I miss my Whataburger!

My dad always said leave things better than you found them and stay until the job is done.
I’m running for re-election to keep doing the work South Dakota sent me to do.
Working with President Trump, we’ve secured our border, put money back into your pockets and achieved peace through strength. I’m proud of the work we’ve done together, but the job isn’t finished!

I often say how proud I am to work for @SenatorRounds, but I am also proud of my colleagues. The work that they did to get Royce Williams greater recognition is only one example of the fantastic work that they do, and Williams is indeed a hero! https://t.co/qtRXetI70b
Yesterday, the Senate passed the 2026 National Defense Authorization Act. The NDAA is a great example of what we can accomplish when we work together. I’m grateful to have worked on this legislation from beginning to end for the 11th year in a row. This year’s NDAA authorizes funding for construction projects at Ellsworth Air Force Base and funding for a facility for the Watertown Army National Guard. It also authorizes a 3.8 percent pay raise for troops and has a total topline of $900.6 billion in defense spending. This keeps our military ahead of the curve, making certain they never enter a fair fight and always have the advantage over our adversaries. I look forward to President Trump signing the NDAA into law.
"Boston Blue" on @CBS has become increasingly anti-Catholic with its denigration of Catholic views and its claims of Catholic hypocrisy. If that does not change, I will not be watching it anymore.
I did not inherit especially happy genes. But I was raised around good habits. And those habits made all the difference.
About half of your baseline happiness is genetic. That much is out of your control. But the other half is shaped by habits, and habits can be learned.
Research on identical twins shows that mood tendencies are partly inherited. That is not a verdict. It is information. Once you understand your tendencies, you can build your life in ways that work with them rather than against them.
The habits that matter most are surprisingly consistent: faith or transcendence, family, real friendship, and work that earns success through service. We usually learn these not from instructions, but from example.
Genetics set the baseline, but habits shape the outcome.
I share with you my afternoon music break with the hope that it gets you in the Christmas spirit if you are not already there: https://t.co/2YSVPmLzsb. Now I have to get back to work.
@OneOutof4 Wow. I graduated in '87 as well, and that does explain our shared view of '80s music. I have also, however, always been a great fan of classic rock 'n' roll from the '50s, '60s, and '70s.
