@jabrownstone I agree, many people wouldn't make that clear distinction between social media leadership & trust, especially when the digital world is full of fakes - it's simply difficult to build trust on there. It's important to know who you're talking to as well as your audience. #351F18_03

@RathjensAndrea @WSJ All of those practices are certainly important in enhancing leadership through social media. My favorite out of those is the "Joining a CEO-cial Network". Not only is it clever, but it is something important when building your brand. #351F18_03

My take-away from this class is that it is very crucial to keep up to date on all variations of emerging technology, it helps us stay aware with what technology may be more effective or not, adapt to new types of technology, and how they affect others, etc. #dcim353a

@CDeTittaRU I like the way you worded it - assisted driving. The idea of "self driving" is creepy, especially when that basically means leaving your life (potentially) in the hands of the car. But, if they come up with advanced parallel parking assistance, let me know! #dcim353a

@RifathMaria The fact that it hit $11k recently slightly bothers me since I held an interest in cryptocurrency for awhile (not enough to engage on it years ago clearly). The only "safe"ish way I hear is to invest in some really strong computing equipment and hopefully mine some? #dcim353a

@Lorriedel This is very fascinating to learn that there are developments in printing capabilities. I do know that 3D printing has become a convenient method for building durable housing, but if they were able to apply it to the human body (organs) would be amazing #dcim353a

@arshi433 Treatment- a lot of companies have/are implementing virtual reality therapy techniques to simulate traumatic events, or situations regarding phobias or anxiety, ptsd, etc. for therapy. It's also convenient b/c a lot of these situations can't be replicated irl #dcim353a

In the world of emerging digital technology I predict virtual reality will have a more significant presence in job training, design, alternative healthcare, and simulation where situations are not as easy to replicate in a real world setting #dcim353a

The advice I would like to give other students is not to isolate yourself from other students. It's one thing to want to get through school and get the degree, but meeting new people and friends, can make that process enjoyable. #dcim353a #txc17
