SPECIAL REPORT: Russian military victory over Ukraine is not inevitable. It is extraordinarily unlikely, in fact, unless Western support for Ukraine collapses.
There is simply no inevitable correlation between the relative size of combatants and the outcome of a war — particularly when the war is existential for the smaller state but not for the larger one, as is true today.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is nevertheless trying once again to breathe life into the myth of inevitable Russian military victory in order to persuade the United States and other supporters of Ukraine to compel Kyiv to surrender.
Ukraine, not Russia, has actually held the initiative in key sectors of the frontline for much of the year and has developed a number of ways of offsetting the overall Russian manpower advantage.
Russia’s population and relative (but diminishing) wealth will let Putin continue his war for a long time, to be sure. But Ukraine can also continue fighting for its existence as long as Western support continues.
Removed all of the samsung spyware from my TV with Codex (Claude refused to root the tv lol)
It's insane how much bloat samsung packs into their TVs to track you and sell your data. Here's just some of what I turned off that made my tv 3x faster:
- screenshot your screen a few times a second to see what you're streaming and fingerprint you to sell your data
- reading your hdmi inputs to do the same thing while you have a game console plugged in
- Voice assistants: Bixby wake-word detectors listening and tracking what you say in your house
Before and after speed of my TV:
@new_yorker77@gator_gum@MelissaLMRogers No what's hilarious is that you somehow missed the fact the president failed to get a company kicked out of the country. It doesn't need to expand even more in its own country XD.
@presidentnickie@gator_gum@MelissaLMRogers Asinine comparison. Trump was trying kick a company out of the country, screwing people out of jobs. He failed. Stelco wants to betray a signed contract and lay a bunch of people off while going to another country without facing repercussions.
Starting to see the difference yet?
@BestStephenD@sarobertson_@MarkJCarney Pathetic response from a pathetic person. By your piss poor logic we wouldn't be able to do trade with the US, India, or China for the same reasons, in which case we may as well cease to be a country because no others have what they have.
Bullshit.
You want the Christian world to support Israel’s wars while preaching about how Jews and Christians are “brothers, forever united.” Perhaps you should explain how that supposed brotherhood squares with what Christian communities actually experience in Israel.
Here:
2015 – Church arson, Galilee: Jewish extremist Yinon Reuveni set fire to buildings at the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes in Tabgha. He was convicted and sentenced to four years in prison.
2016 – Anti-Christian vandalism, Jerusalem: The Dormition Abbey was defaced with slogans including “Christians to Hell” and “Death to the heathen Christians, the enemies of Israel.” Three Jewish teenagers were initially charged, prosecutions were subsequently dropped for lack of sufficient admissible evidence.
January 2023 – Christian graves desecrated: More than 30 graves were vandalised at Jerusalem’s Protestant cemetery on Mount Zion. Crosses were smashed and headstones overturned. Israeli police arrested two teenagers.
February 2023 – Statue of Jesus destroyed: A Jewish American visitor entered Jerusalem’s Church of the Flagellation, pulled down a statue of Jesus and damaged it. Police arrested him.
October 2023 – Christians spat at: Ultra-Orthodox Jewish men were filmed spitting toward Christian pilgrims and churches in Jerusalem. Israeli police arrested six suspects in related incidents.
April 2026 – Catholic nun violently assaulted: A Jewish Israeli man was filmed pushing a French nun to the ground in Jerusalem and returning to kick her. A court established that he committed the assault but acquitted him on mental-health grounds, ordering psychiatric hospitalisation.
In 2025, the Israeli Rossing Center documented 155 incidents targeting Christians, including 61 physical attacks and 52 attacks on church properties.
Between July and September 2026 alone, the Jewish-Israeli Religious Freedom Data Center recorded 96 harassment incidents against Christians, including 77 acts of spitting.
Many Jewish Israelis condemn these attacks and actively work to protect Christian communities. But that makes the simplistic claim of eternal, unconditional religious unity even less defensible.
Solidarity means defending Christians when they are attacked, not demanding their political and military loyalty while ignoring their mistreatment.
Yanukovych won in 2010 promising closer ties with the EU. So, obviously, the CIA overthrew him in 2014 to install a government that wanted... closer ties with the EU.
