Just wondering over here…how many school districts ask their exempt teachers to sign in and out daily? Even tho they specifically stated overtime pay will not be paid over 40 hours…does anyone work less than 40 hours in a teaching position?
Shout out to my district @GCSchoolsNC for providing teachers with three weeks of recorded lessons from district leaders so teachers can spend that time focusing on connecting with families/students, getting baseline data, and building out quality lessons for when we go live.

Thank you Mrs. Adams for leading a book talk using Relentless. This is a great time to reflect and be ready to finish this year RELENTLESS. Our kids are going to need us more than ever when we can return! @midwayelementa1@adams_leighann1
3 things I hope parents & the public will now appreciate a little bit more about educators:
1. How huge the responsibility it is.
2. How much planning and preparation goes into being an educator.
3. The magnitude of putting someone else’s child first & often before ones own.
A1) We have a partnership with our local Ruritans. They provide certificates and medals for one student in every grade level every nine weeks. We hold an assembly and encourage students to show kindness and empathy toward one another. #VAESPChat
