In collab with Migrant Help we brought together displaced families to reconnect through woodland experiences in the Surrey Hills.

The final wash of purple on the #peakdistrict moors is now fading. The heather lasts for such a short time, but that's why it's so anticipated, so appreciated, and then so missed. Happily the gates stay, and the weather-beaten trees, and the twisty paths into the sunset.
Celebrating #Farm24! Thank you to ALL of our farmers in the Surrey Hills National Landscape, who work tirelessly to produce our food, help wildlife thrive, enable us to enjoy the countryside, support our mental health & wellbeing and so much more. @CLASouthEast@FarmersGuardian
"I come to my solitary woodland walk as the homesick go home." - Henry David Thoreau
Some mornings, there's nothing better than a walk with just the trees, the birds and your thoughts. Space to breathe, to soak up the silence and the damp air before the day becomes people-y.
Something interesting happens when you have no money to spend, no phone to play on, & no task to occupy yourself with other than putting one foot in front of the other. A stillness takes over, along with a deep appreciation for magic & beauty all around us, in the smallest things
"How immensely important to us are those things in our life that are stable and unchanging. So much of our world is in motion. How welcome are the bits that stand still." ~C.R. Milne #nature#SaturdayMotivation#SaturdayMorning#peace#calm
