What is EBT, in one line? The Equity Budgeting Tool (EBT) checks whether every rupee of public spending in KP reaches every person, equally, across all four stages of the budget cycle: planning, approval, execution, monitoring.

Our #1 ask, in plain language: KP's departments should collect and publish data by gender, disability, refugee status, minority and geography, so no one is invisible in the budget. Not a bigger-budget ask, a visibility one. #EquityBudgetingKP #WhoseShareWhoseNeed

6 steps, 1 equity rating. EBT reads each budget line item, filters it through 7 equity dimensions,
overlays geographic vulnerability, audits execution, assigns a rating (red alert = marginalised groups unserved), then rewrites it with explicit mandates.

Day 2 of our Master Trainer Training featured an exposure visit to the Centre of Excellence, celebrating equity-based infrastructure and women in tech-based skills programmes, alongside panel discussions, case studies, digital studio sessions, mentorship, and recognition.

7 dimensions. 1 multiplying lens. EBT examines gender, disability, refugee & displacement status, ethnicity, minority status, religion and age, then asks whether geography makes each one worse.
Remote districts like Bajaur and Orakzai carry zero equity appraisal of their own.
