Loose control: Vaguely pushing them all around until they align, could take 20 pushes, could take 100 pushes.

He loosely controls input, not tightly. Tight control would be manually picking up each one and placing it. Loose control is applying force in vaguely the correct direction and letting statistics do the rest.

The cost of everyone's work will not go to zero equally. The "permanent underclass" probably won't be literally permanent, but 10-20 years of mass unemployment would be enough to ruin many lives.

I'd say the upper bound of difficulty for frontend stuff can be quite high (wasm 💀)

With AI I can't imagine this exists at all at university anymore.
