#SpecialGramSabha | Gram Panchayats across the country are requested to give special emphasis to maximum participation of local residents i.e. Members of Gram Sabhas in the Special Gram Sabhas on 2 October 2026. The presence and participation of local residents will make these Gram Sabhas even more special.

The participation of citizens will bring local needs, priorities, ideas and aspirations into the planning process, enriching the Gram Panchayat Development Plans (#GPDPs) for 2027–28.

Gram Panchayats may schedule their Gram Sabha for 2 October 2026 at https://t.co/yYMpRclStA and upload the relevant details after its conduct.
