19 years ago today (June 2, 2003), Steve Thomas scored the game's only goal just 39 seconds into OT of Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final vs. New Jersey. J.S. Giguere saved all 26 shots for his 5th shutout of those playoffs.

I saw Steve Thomas the other day. It made me think. He retired very quietly from the NHL. There will be no Hall of Fame for him. Played 20 seasons in the NHL. Was never sent down to minors. Itโs such an amazing feat. Not bad for a kid from England.
Along the way everyone of these players got told to move on, but every one was like screw that I ain't done, and now they're Olympic medallists. Congrats to men's hockey team, right on, super Proud of you guys.
