The best way to keep destiny healthy will always be to keep PvP healthy. Yes it is a primarily PvE game and always should be, but once you get done playing all of the PvE content, PvP needs to be that endlessly re-playable backbone.
One of the coolest things the Rose Bowl does is have the broadcast booth select the players of the game. Wanted to give it originally to the ENTIRE IU OL but when told that couldn’t happen I thought Pat really embodied the OL dominance for 60 minutes and should be the player of the game. And then to watch that moment when he found out was one of my favorite moments of the year. 🌹🥹
this guy is in a 3 stack vs my all solo team in comp and gets killed, so he goes straight to insults lol.
I’ve reported stuff like this and much worse before but I’m not a streamer so nothing happens 🤷🏻♂️
Also, why are we against a 3 stack as all solos? @A_dmg04@Destiny2Team
@Tatsu866@jingelhymer I was really hoping to see you or helmet in the killed feed since you mentioned you played against him last night lol. But the video was to blurry to be able to read it ☹️
Bungie spent too many years exploiting my good-will and faith in them. I defended them loudly and often. "Yeah, they have low points but they always come through with something great in the end."
But the "great" stopped being "great," and became... "Good" ... then, "pretty good." Then, "decent." Then, "Okay."
Until I finally realized, "The only reason I keep justifying their declining content is because I've poured almost 4K hours of my life into this game and if I stop playing, I'm admitting it was all a waste."
An "abusive relationship" is literally the only way I can describe it. Refusing to walk-away because deep down, I just didn't want to admit I was wrong, and they were getting worse, and ignoring the community feedback, while exploiting the community for more Microtransactions on top of $40-$60 DLC content every year...
I'm just not going back, man. They had 10 years to get it right between D1 and this year, and they got it right less than 50% of the time... I'm tired of giving them more chances.
My wife was at the dealership to get a tire rotation and balance.
This was known to be a little over $100 and the oil change is about $100.
So naturally we expected a bill of maybe $200-$220 when it was done.
Wife texts and says it’s going to be $325.
She said because they said I needed an air filter.
So I called and asked them to itemize it for me before she drives off.
The air filter was $75!
I told them not to do it.
He said “it’s already in”
I said, “take it out, I just found a set of air and cabin filters for $20 as we talked. If I can get it for that, a Mazda dealer is getting it for less and it’s two thumb clips to change.”
He said “I can’t do that”
I said “you can and you will because if you don’t I’ll never buy there again and I’ll tell everyone and anyone not to. Is that worth the price of a $20 filter”
He said, “ok, sir… but to be clear, she agreed to it”
I said, “of course she did, but I didn’t set up an appointment for an air filter and I never would.”
My point is this— people need to push back. This has all gotten incredibly ridiculous.
Folks, I bought a filter set for a Maserati for $22 dollars and that was 2 air filters & a cabin filter, and all of 10 minutes TOTAL to replace.
I truly believe that all of this has to do with us no longer teaching kids (or wives) that certain things in life are absolutely easy to do.
