Restrictions at the Ibrahimi Mosque continue.
Worshippers wait at checkpoints, journalists are blocked, and even the call to prayer is silenced. Still, people return to pray.
Eid Mubarak from CPT Palestine!
This Eid, we honor the resilience of Palestinian communities resisting injustice. May it bring peace, justice, and freedom for all.
Israeli Border Police are confiscating Palestinian-themed items from shopkeepers near the Ibrahimi Mosque, threatening them with punishment. This is part of a wider effort to suppress Palestinian presence in the Old City.
In Hebron, Israeli forces repeatedly close the Ibrahimi Mosque gates, leaving worshippers waiting, sometimes expelling them mid-prayer. During Ramadan, long waits and sudden closures prevent many from reaching this sacred site.
30 Days of Closure at Abu Al-Reish Checkpoint!
Since March 16, Israeli forces have blocked residents from their homes and students from school—without explanation. Protests were ignored.
What was once a demand to remove the checkpoint is now just a plea to reopen it.
On the first Friday of Ramadan, worshippers at the Ibrahimi Mosque faced severe restrictions. Only 35% of the mosque was open, military checkpoints blocked access, and Palestinians under 27 were banned. Yet, despite these obstacles, they remain steadfast in their faith.

Let those with eyes to see refuse to look away
Today, we visited a father and daughter, both survivors of Israeli detention.
The father endured torture; the daughter faced violence and witnessed brutality in prison.
“They want us to be afraid,” the father said. “But we will stay until this occupation is over.”
"Tell them the story!" A young Palestinian man’s plea for justice.
Today, a shopkeeper shared how his store was attacked and merchandise destroyed due to false information. 20% of his stock was lost. The soldiers faced no consequences.
Today, we visited a family whose story is all too familiar.
The IOF invaded their home, destroyed everything, arrested their son and daughter, and stole land for a military base. Heartbreaking, but we listened and shared their story, knowing our presence and voice are needed.
Today, we visited Hebron, where Palestinians face military checkpoints just to pray at Ibrahimi Mosque.
Hours of waiting, ID checks, & turnstiles reduce worshippers to prisoners. This is religious persecution. #Hebron#IbrahimiMosque#FreePalestine
Today is the first day of Ramadan, a sacred month of fasting and prayer. In Al-Khalil/Hebron, Israeli forces restrict movement, delay worshippers, and ban men under 25 from the mosque.
Despite this, the community remains steadfast in faith.
