Attended the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Tea Research Association (TRA), where innovative solutions based on nanotechnology from IFFCO for tea gardens were launched. It is a significant step towards the future of sustainable tea cultivation in the country. The programme was also attended by Shri Pabitra Margherita, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles, Shri C. Murugan, IAS, Dy. Chairman and CEO, Tea Board of India, Shri Yogendra Kumar, Marketing Director, IFFCO, Shri Suneel Singh Sikand, Chairman, TRA, Shri Rajvinder Singh – Vice Chairman, Shri Joydeep Phukan, Secretary, TRA, Dr. Venkatesan Selvaraj, Director, TRA, Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Shri Sunil Kumar, SMM Assam & NE.

Rooted in four years of joint trials by TRA and IFFCO, these innovations have demonstrated promising yield gains of 8–14%, opening new possibilities for healthier tea gardens and more productive cultivation. _एक कहानी जो झकझोर देती है 🎯_

दिल्ली की सड़कों पर जो आज लाल लो-फ्लोर बसें दौड़ती हैं, जिसने खतरनाक ब्लू लाइन को हटाया था, 2010 के कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स के लिए जिस अफसर ने पूरी दिल्ली का कायाकल्प कर दिया था, उस अफसर का नाम था - श्री राकेश मेहता, IAS (1975 बैच)।

सेंट स्टीफेंस, JNU और लंदन स्कूल ऑफ इकोनॉमिक्स से पढ़े, MCD कमिश्नर, DTC के CMD, बिजली सचिव और फिर 2007 से 2010 तक दिल्ली के मुख्य सचिव। शीला दीक्षित जी के सबसे भरोसेमंद अफसरों में से एक। मीडिया उन्हें तेज-तर्रार और विजनरी कहता था। एक इशारे पर पूरी दिल्ली का प्रशासन हिल जाता था।

और उसी शख्सियत का आखिरी अध्याय क्या रहा ?

74 साल की उम्र में, नोएडा सेक्टर-82 के केंद्रीय विहार में एक किराए के फ्लैट में अकेले। पत्नी, जो खुद दिल्ली कैडर की रिटायर्ड IAS हैं, बेटे के साथ देहरादून में। बेटी लंदन में। बेटा-बेटी कामयाब, परिवार में किसी चीज़ की कमी नहीं।

5 सितंबर, [शनिवार रात] पत्नी से आखिरी बार फोन पर बात हुई। रविवार को जब लगातार फोन नहीं उठा, तो गार्ड को भेजा गया।

एक पन्ने के नोट में उन्होंने किसी को दोष नहीं दिया। बस लिखा - BP, शुगर और हाथ-पैर में कंपन से थक गया हूँ।

वो हाथ जिसने दिल्ली के लिए बड़े-बड़े फैसले लिखे, आखिर में अपने ही कांपते हाथों से लड़ रहा था।

ये कहानी हमें क्या सिखाती है?

हम सब यही करते हैं।

दिन-रात दौड़ते हैं, सोचते हैं कि बच्चों का भविष्य बना दें, थोड़ा नाम कमा लें, थोड़ा पैसा जोड़ लें, फिर आराम से जिएंगे।

पर ये 'फिर' कभी आता ही नहीं।

इसलिए वक़्त रह्ते समझिये कि:

1. #पद रिटायर होता है, आदमी नहीं।_
हम पूरी जिंदगी कुर्सी को ही अपनी पहचान बना लेते हैं। जब कुर्सी जाती है, तो लगता है हम ही खाली हो गए। मेहता जी जैसे बड़े अफसर को भी अगर रिटायरमेंट के बाद 5 साल अकेले फ्लैट में रहना पड़ा, तो सोचिए हम क्या तैयारी कर रहे हैं? कुर्सी पर रहते हुए ही, कुर्सी के बाहर के दो-चार सच्चे रिश्ते, एक मोहल्ला, एक दोस्ती बचा कर रखिए।

2. #कामयाब बच्चे ही सब कुछ नहीं हैं।_
हम गर्व से कहते हैं - मेरा बेटा देहरादून में, मेरी बेटी लंदन में सेटल है। पर क्या उस सेटल होने में हमारे बुढ़ापे का साथ भी सेटल है? बच्चों को उड़ने दीजिए, पर अपने बुढ़ापे का घोंसला सिर्फ बच्चों की कामयाबी पर मत टिकाइए। अपना एक छोटा संसार - सुबह की सैर के साथी, शाम की चाय, किताबें, भजन, पड़ोस - जरूर बनाइए।

3. #अकेलापन सबसे बड़ी बीमारी है।_
डॉक्टर BP और शुगर की दवा दे देगा, पर अकेलेपन की कोई दवा नहीं है। आज हमारे घर में माँ-बाप जिंदा हैं, तो हम फोन तक नहीं करते। सोचते हैं - सब ठीक तो है। मेहता जी के पास भी सब फोन करते थे, पर रोज़मर्रा में साथ बैठने वाला कोई नहीं था।

इसलिए लेख का सार यही है कि -

"#कभी किसी को मुकम्मल जहान नहीं मिलता।"

○ मुकम्मल जहान किसी को नहीं मिलेगा। पर अधूरे जहान में भी अगर हम आज ही किसी अपने के पास बैठ जाएं, बिना किसी उन काम के एक कप चाय पी लें, तो वही अधूरा जहान मुकम्मल लगने लगता है।

○ दौड़ते रहिए, पर कभी-कभी रुक कर देख लीजिए, कहीं कोई अपना आपका इंतजार तो नहीं कर रहा.
