@TEnglishSport A polite reply to a pitch invasion. Celtic come out of this with their dignity intact. The press corps and Hearts absolutely sold theirs.
BBC Scotland news tonight not only didn’t have a match report in the sport piece, they didn’t even read out the score!
Of the women’s Scottish Cup final!!!
But 2 minutes of guys on the steps of a plane and tears for a guy that didn’t make it.
Sensational 😂
@Alan_Morrison67@CorbyJambo Hearts away form since January. Green is at 9 man Hibs.
It’s not league winning form. It’s bottom 6 in fact on away form.
Doesn’t suit the narrative though.

@Cyber_Mark@thedavidcurrie@GrahamSpiers Yip. Agreed. I was annoyed that day. We wanted 10. All proper club fans are biased.
I wasn’t annoyed on Saturday.
On both occasions, when you ignore the noise, common sense prevailed.
@Cyber_Mark@thedavidcurrie@GrahamSpiers There is a common sense angle too. Celtic 9-0 up at tannadice. Game stopped bang on 90 as a mercy. The rules say stoppages for subs is a ‘mandatory’ 2.5 minutes.
Ending the game was pure common sense and to be fair McInnes called it. A proper football decision.
@GrahamSpiers see above. Bring some common sense to this. The game was over, hearts players were spared the angst.
Pitch invasions are crap, but my god the spin is beyond tinfoil hat stuff from HMFC, Foulkes and some of your press corps. Embarrassing.
Mind when Celtic were 9-0 up at tannadice , with the crowd chanting “we want 10” and the ref blew for full time bang on 90 minutes?
Ex player pundits all agreed it was the right thing to do, there’s informal agreement, manager giving the ref the nod.
@ClydeSSB Credit to McInnes there. He’s seen the reality, game’s done, he absolves the referee from having to restart pointlessly, and shakes O’Neills hand. Fair play.
I bet he’s embarrassed by the official HMFC narrative to be honest. Panto villain to us but got to say that was decent.
So as Hearts look to escalate pressure on the SFA emboldened by a mega wealthy investor, UEFA threaten to sanction Hearts for the influence of a mega wealthy investor?
How deep does this Celtic unseen hand conspiracy go??
@mrewanmurray I thought the game was fortunate to go ahead given McInnes’ propensity to put the match officials safety under threat with his irresponsible comments.
We can all hyperbolise.
And Hearts are hurriedly swapping Saturday’s lies for hyperbole. An adult needs to intervene.
@sked21 Irresponsible comments on referees ended up with one under police protection less than a week ago. I think the glass house is being stoned from the inside. Hearts are trying to work an angle here, but I’m afraid it’s a really desperate look now.
