Quinta Espada: Nnoitra Gilga—One of the most misunderstood & overshadowed characters in Bleach—a thread 🧵
I will have multiple parts; this one will just be the broad gist, and I'll add parts that target each individual aspect later on.
(if this gets aired I STG.)
To this day, when I hear Asterisk, a strong sense of nostalgia overwhelms me.
And the cover of the first volume of Bleach is still my favorite.

i think two things can coexist
asia is a vastly diverse continent with very diverse groups of people however there is still a big racism problem no matter in which area of asia it's in
its just that east asia is more known for having that pale skin beauty standard
Asian folks in america aren't a monolith, there's over 24+ distinct Asian ethnic groups in this country and y'all start sounding like you wanna do collective punishment when you talk about Asians on here when it's a specific man and a WHITE supremacist govt that is responsible
a trans woman was beaten to death in toronto & police are having trouble identifying them. the police also don’t seem to be pushing this story as much so it seems unlikely her people will find her :(
It's funny how both Oda and Kubo reduced LGBTQ+ characters to disturbing caricatures just for a laugh
Having no LGBTQ is better than just using them as a laughing stock
