DILLONS DIRTY FLY ROAD DIARIES
Sometimes getting from point A to point B ain’t about staying on the road… it’s about lifting off @masculinejason
You don’t crawl your way through life if you’re built to fly you lean into it, full throttle, no apology. And yeah… everything’s got its own rhythm, its own unfolding. You can’t force growth, but you damn sure can recognize it when it shows up in another man.
I’ve always said; I teach, however I’m learning every day. From men who show up real. Men who do that hide behind noise. That’s one of those rare ones. Grounded, direct, no smoke. The kind of man who doesn’t just talk about character he carries it. Made space, showed respect, no agenda behind it. @masculinejason That’s how you know.
That’s eagle energy… not flapping around in circles, but seeing the whole landscape and moving with purpose. Men love that saying; don’t swim with ducks if you want to fly with eagles. But most don’t understand what it costs. Flying higher means thinner air. Less noise. Fewer people. You better be ready to stand on your own spine when you get up there.
Because the view is different… and so is the responsibility. There’s something ancient in it too. That eagle call it instinct, call it spirit…it moves between worlds. Physical and something deeper. A reminder that not everything is seen, but it’s felt. Strength ain’t loud. Courage ain’t always visible. But it’s there when a man keeps going anyway.
Midnight sun… no darkness to hide in. Everything exposed, all hours. That’s what this road turns into if you stay on it long enough. No more splitting yourself between day and night, truth and illusion. It all merges. You either stand in it, or you don’t.
And “ride the wind”…men think that means drifting. Nope, It’s trust. It’s knowing you don’t control everything, but you still step forward without fear. Not reckless just unshaken. I don’t bow to men. Never have. However I respect them when they earn it. I ask questions, I stay curious, and I answer to something higher than noise, ego, or crowd approval.
And the ones who walk this road right…they don’t just grow alone, they raise the whole damn line with them. Have to say this was an experience I wouldn’t trade for the or anything and one that I’ll always remember, I don’t forget kindness like this, it was a true blessing.
