@waronweakness It’s a US thing though, right? I have stayed in Airbnbs all across Europe and Asia and have not seen or felt a privilege framing. More the opposite, like home meets a concierge service. Conversely, I have heard your perspective only from people staying in the US.
@thsottiaux With the dropdown between Chat and Codex perhaps you are also thinking this way. Removing codex projects from Chat mode projects would help with this.
@thsottiaux Appreciate the attempt but this is still not right imo. Chat projects should not live next to codex projects. These are very different use cases. There should be chat/personal mode with those projects etc and work mode with codex etc (w/ adv Codex features optional via toggle).
@thsottiaux https://t.co/qqAAWwJyzb and Codex have the same UI. There might be a good reason for this but right now due it seems redundant and confusing. 2. If the app is now ChatGPT desktop I expect a toggle/interface for chat, a distinct UI and all my chat based projects etc to be there
@thsottiaux Not releasing all features at the same time on Windows and Mac. And making this worse by releasing features and then not making it obvious it’s out for Mac only. I do feel like a second class pro user sometimes.
@rsuyoy In the announcement of the $100 plan they said “we're rebalancing Codex usage in Plus to support more sessions throughout the week, rather than longer sessions in a single day.”
@levelsio If you go through a doctor that will be your experience. If you simply book a test with literally dozens of online blood diagnostic companies then you can have as many tests as you want. Then involve a doctor post blood work if required.
Congrats to friends @liquidai , context length scaling is quite something, who needs transformers?
Helped with some flops early days, looking forward to seeing the amazing team scale even further 🚀
Today we’re unveiling our plans for a Los Angeles air taxi network—created with the goal of replacing 1-2 hour drives in LA traffic with 10-20 minute emission-free flights above it all.
This planned network includes vertiports at LAX, Orange County, University of Southern California, Santa Monica, Hollywood Burbank, Long Beach & Van Nuys.
As part of the network planning, we’re also collaborating with the @RamsNFL and Hollywood Park, the 300-acre district centered around SoFi Stadium, for a potential exclusive vertiport in the area.

@MPrinParr@javilopen@MelanieCanva@cuenca Yeh it’s fine. I did see some people in my feed saying they had cancelled Canva over it. Complete over reaction imo. It’s just an opening to an event…calm down. And it’s quite on-brand so I didn’t see the surprise either.
@bourbondreaming@mhp_guy@WifiMoneyPlant Yeh, if I had to guess I would think the lack of stability and certainty in people’s lives meant they didn’t think it was the right time. Which ties into the broader trend - uncertain and less stable jobs, relationships, property etc = less “settling down” moments overall.
@javilopen@MPrinParr@MelanieCanva@cuenca Yeh it’s definitely not. Melanie is from Australia (as is Canva) and speaks with an Aussie accent. Maybe next year? Haha

@mhp_guy@WifiMoneyPlant That looks like the world average, so not the best data to use in relation to a point about the US. The US like most of the west has been well below replacement level for decades, and we have been seeing this demographic issue play out in the economy for as long.
10/10 Humans aren't bees. Unlike bees, humans prioritise self-interest over the interests of the whole. That's why marketing is a feature, not a bug. Just like in the examples I gave it's marketing that lets us make more sense of things in a world of high supply and competition.
1/10 While I agree with the sentiment behind this tweet, I feel it is an engineering-led way of thinking that assumes people are rational actors with perfect information, or perhaps @levelsio has a far more narrow definition of marketing than me. Here's my defence of marketing:
9/10 For example, products might be designed to appeal to sensations, trends, or shock value, rather than long-term usability or contribution to the field
