Some cultures are worse than others but for the most part it has infected all levels of soccer. Believe me though it wasn’t always like this. 70s 80s 90s were real deal.

@chrisman The training is better. The competition is better. It is year round. At an MLS NeXT event there will be hundreds of college coaches. The exposure is legit. All youth sports have an elite pathway. All sports have less competitive pathways. Why do people cry when money is involved?

@chrisman Wrong. MLS Next is for certain select clubs and select players 13-19 yrs old. Fees in AZ are $2500 - $3k. And yes clubs discount their fees all the time through financial assistance programs. Stop whining you tart your kid ain’t making it. Go play AYSO - it’s free.

@chrisman Same for volleyball baseball basketball? Just turn up pay and you are on the team? Hundreds of players every year tryout for a limited number of spots. Like it or not the best youth soccer players play MLS Next. It’s not for every family and every player. It’s not perfect.

@spencertbarber Have you been to Ventanas in Playa Grande. Big lots and lots of green space. A well thought out development. Great views of the beaches and some affordable homes lower down.
