Yesterday @dmujournalism sports students got the luxury of visiting world-renound rugby club @LeicesterTigers. They also met with Communications Executive Stan Buckley who gave them a tour of the stadium.

The Crumble Stand which is where the changing rooms are located for the players has a stair walk-out as opposed to a ramp, which opposition players have tried multiple times to get altered.
This is also where the press box and press room is located for post-match interviews. 📝

On Wednesday, @dmujournalism students were invited down to the @LeicesterArena home of @RidersBball for a tour, as well as, getting to meet Kevin Routledge and Ashley Fontaine who is Head of Marketing. 🏀🐴

🔹They have enough carpet to cover both wooden floors in seconds 😳😱
🔹The sprung-wooden oak flooring in the extension costing over £100,000 💰
🔹The land that the arena was built on was previously a gas plant, paintworks and shipping yard 👨🏼‍🎨📦

i spoke with @FarhanKlcj about his FA Level 1 Football Coaching Licence and his aspirations to build on this further and become an FA Level 2 Coach. Farhan will get in touch with the sports facilities at DMU to guide him in the right direction.
