Working to make “the kiss” the official state candy, these young ladies are also learning about the legislative process. Thanks for the visit, kudos on your efforts and keep up the great work! #thekiss4pa @thekiss4pa

The Hershey Kiss Committee from Council Rock in Bucks Co. was in the Capitol today to advocate for something we can all get behind: chocolate.
These students authored a bill to make Hershey's Kisses the official candy of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. No need to twist my arm.

I was excited to welcome @thekiss4pa to Harrisburg today with @SenSantarsiero and @SenatorDiSanto! Though the State Government committee meeting scheduled to vote on their bill #SB1122 was canceled, they definitely made the most of their trip!

[Senator Maria Collett @SenatorCollett]

The @thekiss4pa students toured the capitol, attended session, and met with legislators + @FettermanLt!

I look forward to continuing to work with them to pass #SB1122, and I hope this experience encourages them to stay involved in the legislative process!
