We've passed the "useful" benefits of being co-dependent on each other's trade. If every nation could exist without being dependent on trading for basic resources, we could start to have healthier relationships with less manipulation.
All nations deserve - and should strive to - feed themselves. It would be good for the global economy if trade was about the difficult to cultivate items instead of squeezing every last penny out of a head of lettuce or an egg that could be produced locally.
Most people think global trade and think variety of good available for purchase. But equally it incentivizes sourcing basic goods from where ever the cheapest source is on the planet.
I recently inherited my grandfather's old manual drill press so on the weekend I hooked it up to play Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move. I'll share a gameplay video that contains another twist soon.😉
