Yesterday, I convened a cross-party dialogue with colleagues under #MPsforChildren, in partnership with Just Rights for Children. It was encouraging to see Parliamentarians, across party lines, come together with a shared conviction to end child marriage and strengthen systems that protect every child.

We discussed concrete pathways, from advancing the idea of a ‘Child Marriage-Free India Day’ to shaping a safer digital ecosystem for children through age-appropriate regulations and a prevention-by-design approach.

This is not just a social priority, it demands sustained legislative attention, institutional accountability, and coordinated policy action to secure every child’s future. @JustRightsIndia @Bhuwan_Ribhu

Congratulations and deep gratitude to the @JustRightsIndia legal team led by our lead counsel and Senior Advocate @hsphoolka ji, along with Advocates Rachna Tyagi and colleagues, who have once again rewritten the judicial process in how courts respond to victims of #childsexualabuse. This moment has firmly placed both moral and judicial accountability on the #Bench to uphold a #victimfirst approach. We are grateful to the Bench for inviting recommendations from the #JustRightsforChildren team to strengthen judicial awareness and help institutionalise a culture where justice remains the first and guiding principle.
