I feel this.
I have a great job. Stressful at times but incredibly flexible. I hear people in my role complain constantly. But between pay and benefits I legit feel like I hit the lottery. Honestly not sure what there is to complain about.

Incorrect. I am a W2. I get all the health benefits and retirement benefits but do institutional sales.
It’s true the comp plan can change but two things never do: the comp Target, and the plan is uncapped.
I’m 85% commission on average. It’s absolutely eat what I kill.
Become good at sales and you’ll never be unemployed.
@bertlovesfutbol@tommie_peebles Same exact experience here. We had TWO reserved for different times after the concert because our 14 year old was with us. Was fully ready to pay one cancellation fee. Instead both canceled and we got back to our hotel at 3:30AM
For what it’s worth.
Every child is a one of one. All the advice you receive might be good, and it might be not… for your child.
No new parent knows what they are doing. Embrace it. It’s the greatest learning opportunity of your life.
They will be okay. We had one kid that was a dream baby and one that gave us a very tough time on various fronts in the first two years. At 12 and 14 they are already my greatest achievement. Love on them always and as long as you and your wife remember to love each other- all will be well.
Take the help that’s offfered. If you have family or friends (that you trust) that want to help. LET THEM. It’ll be hard at first but save your sanity, your energy and your patience.
Don’t blink. Cliche- yes. True- also yes. There are days where I still can’t believe I have my oldest who is heading to high school next year. Days go slow and years go fast.
Take ALL THE PICTURES. You will never regret it.
Congratulations to your new family. Wishing you all the blessings as you welcome your new addition. Health and happiness always 🙏
@Thomas_L_Grote My 7 year old nephew texts me almost everyday. No better feeling! He send me “drawings” and I have to guess what they are (I have a 37% success rate)
@VWSmaltz@CardPurchaser@nickbell@WeTheHobby @FanaticsCollect They shipped a huge card in the same scenario to the wrong buyer after grading. Comps dropped 40% by the time I got it😢
I am not a jingoist by any stretch of the word. Moreover, my daughter is on the USS Lincoln as we speak. I have skin in this game.
I have read (and heard) a lot of BS about whether or not we should be in Iran.
Let me be clear... I've been a SME on Iran for 25÷ years. I speak Persian Farsi, Dari, Balochi, and Tajik. I've been to Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, and yes... Iran. There are few who know Iran as "intimately" as I do.
The reasons for this war are nuanced and complicated, but one thing is clear as day... the Iranian people (by and large) are good people and they just want to have the same liberty and freedom we have. Their women and girls want to be able to go out into public without having to fear if they'll be arrested and beaten (or even killed) by the "Virtue Police".
If you cannot see that, and you cannot support the liberation of a people that have been brutally oppressed for 47+ years... then you have no humanity and you and I are not the same.
Our past with Iran is not a good one (Operation Ajax or Iran Contra)... but a vast majority of the Iranians (and Americans) today have no idea why the relationship between our two countries soured in the first place. A vast majority of Iranians have only ever known abject tyranny and Islamic brutally... they love America.
I will not debate this with anyone.
Either get on team America and support the liberation of a brutalized people... or STFU and continue to wallow in your miserable hypocrisy and enjoy freedom you never had to earn or fight for.
God Bless America.
God Bless our Men and Women in Uniform.
I said what I said.
